CHEVROLET IMPALA SS396 1965

This last winter Frank is gone to  some of his friends at the  northern territories

he had gone to them for a kindly visit,and which better occasion for discover a great car in them snowy garden?
the car is  a previous Frank's work: Chevy Impala 1965 SS version

 painted in “Mist blue poly” contrasts with the snow brilliance

 in front at the friend's house "stands" the typical coke bottle stiled design created for this year edition.

 the interior had been totally replaced by Frank with a black vinyl...simple and correct for 1965 by  color chart

Under the hood the famous 396 c.i.with 325 hp  pawing...

Oh yes this impala show all his beauty in this snowy Christmas  garden !

Diecast Welly 1/26 totally redone by Frank

Ingredients:

Welly Diecast in origin Yellow, first work disassembled all the model .

body sandblasted,painted with primer and finished with mist blue poly .

Interior paint in black

carpet (real material)added; interior roof covered in black canvas.

floor mats in leather.

replaced pedals

dashboard and all interior parts to finished with chromed alu trim (bare metal foil or similar)
 
scratched treads for more realistic appearance (asphalt consumption ).

exhaust pipe replaced with alut pipes modelled.
 
grille painted in black.

added rocker moulding
 
engine added with all wire details and more particulars missing in the original diecast.

Emlems replaced
 
antenna added
 
side glasses  and door glasses added
 
added all exterior chrome trim always with alu sheet
 
original licence plates added
