Recuperata presso uno Junkyard dalle sue parti. (Arizona)..in pessime condizioni ma come si sa, con poca ruggine e molta sabbia...ovunque...Ora sabbiata, verniciata di un tipico colore "bright blue"uno dei 4 disponibili per l'eliminator...

Recovered from a Junkyard its parts. (Arizona) .. in very poor condition but as you know, with little rust and a lot of sand ... everywhere ... now sand, paint color of a typical "bright blue" one of four available on the eliminator ...

 il motore è tutto nuovo ed è il pezzo forte di questa macchina..monta un Cobra jet 428 (ovviamente di derivazione  Ford)...

the engine is all new and is the highlight of this machine .. fitted with a Cobra Jet 428 (obviously derived from Ford) ...

 spoiler al posteriore di serie sul modello...cromature in perfetto ordine come mamma Mercury le aveva prodotte..

Frank ci propone un valido mezzo da lavoro/svago tanto popolare dalle sue parti è di AMT in scala 1/25,il ritrovamento del nostro Frank non è casuale ma essendo alla ricerca di un mezzo utile per la sua officina...ha pensato perchè non un mezzo comodo e anche veloce? il colore è Silver pearl poly esterno con black elk per l'interno dotato di bucket seat like option avaialble...

sicuramente questo El camino del 1965 è all'altezza della situazione un bel pianale non è mai abbastanza..se poi sotto c'è un bel V8 ancora meglio...

questo è un 'onesto 327 c.i. Turbo fire con circa 250 hp...onesto per il mezzo su cui è montato ma niente di performante...i carichi altrimenti potrbbero "volare" fuori...

L'interno è in linea su ciò che di meglio si offriva nel '65 con un bel tunnel central cromato e cambio shift on the flloor a 4 velocità...forse lo specchietto sportivo è un di più...

Ecco un'altra sorpresa di Frank una Chrysle 300 c del '57  (AMT model kit 1/24) tanto per fare un paragone tra due vetture esclusive...forse questa più elegante oltre che sportiva comunque un icona del magnifico mondo degli anni '50

Nera aggressiva ma molto "aristocratica" griglia presa come moda dalle "Ferrari " anni 50...tanto in voga come moda in quegli anni...Frank l'ha ritrovata in pessime condizioni ma lavorandoci molte ore è riuscito a portarla a nuova gloria...

il motore sempre HEMI (a camere emisferiche) potenziato per muovere il maggior peso della vettura...Frank ha dovuto lavorare molto per far ruggire ancora quello he era fermo ed in pessime condizioni (ve lo poso assicurare)...

Chrysler 300 c 1955

Ecco qui una bella  icona Chrysler una 300 c del 1955 (Motor Max 1/24) che Frank ci propone quasi integralmente così come l'ha trovata...l'esterno quasi perfetto solo alcuni particolari hanno necessitato una rivisitazione...mancanti i loghi sulle coppe dei cerchi ...linea cromata su tuttal la fiancata (con riga nera al centro) ferma dalle parti di Frank ad una filling station  dal'altri tempi...

Here is a nice icon a Chrysler 300 c of 1955 (Motor Max 1 / 24) that Frank gives us almost entirely as he found it almost perfect ... the outside only a few details have necessitated a review of the missing ... logos on the cups of the line chrome wheels ... flying wing on the side (with black stripe in the middle) firmly on the side of Frank at a filling station from the past ...

Targa originale al posteriore ed apertura scarichi...cornici ricromate sui vetri...

Original licence plate and the rear discharge opening ... re-chromed frames on the windows ...

l'interno invece aveva bisogno di un rifacimento totale...rivestimento in pelle strumentazione e corretta colorazione del cruscotto con aggiunta safety belts (già di serie nel '55 in USA)...aggiunta dei mancanti vetri posteriori ....

Instead the interior needed a complete revision ... leather dashboard instrumentation and correct color with the addition of safety belts (standard in USA from '55) ... Adding the missing rear windows ....

il motore uno dei primi HEMI montati su vettura di serie è stato rinfrescato a dovere...molti particolari erano spariti ma ora di nuovo presenti con tutte le funzioni...da notare che se molti asegnino il ruolo di prima "muscle car " all Pontiac GTO del '64 questa Chrysler è la vera progenitrice di ciò che è stata come  nascita della "muscle car era" in USA anche se solamente come anticipo di ciò che di lì ad un decennio sarebbe diventata l'epoca d'oro della performance...

di AMT questo kit che Frank ci propone scala 1/24 particolare versione GT con cambio manuale a 4 marce invece l'auto trans con il quale l'auto era la GT/A

this is the car before the restore...it was stop for a long time in a garage...with an attempt to prepare a drag car

questa è la vettura prima del ripristino ... era fermata per un lungo periodo in un garage ... con un tentativo di preparare una drag car...

questa volta Frank ci propone questa bel air 1957 di Sunnyside scala 1/24... il colore(tropical blue torquoise) e l'esterno di buona fattura e qualità alcuni particolari sono stati impreziositi come fa solitamente Frank...

La parte del muso è stata rivisutata per dare quel giusto colore della griglia e dei contrast nero/cromo..ovviamente messa la giusta licence plate con anno corretto...

l'interno invece è stato completamente rifatto con un colore speciale dei sedili "bench seat" bi-tone opzione a pagamento nella lunga lista di optional del '57...rivestimento totale dei pavimenti in moquette e aggiunta dei vetri laterali sempre mancanti...
